London, Thursday 11th October: OVO Energy, the UK’s largest independent energy supplier, today announces that Adrian Letts, Managing Director of Online at Tesco has been appointed Retail CEO at OVO Energy as the company prepares to expand overseas.
Adrian joins OVO Energy in the new year from his role as Managing Director of Online at Tesco, the world’s largest online grocery retailer. Adrian has continued to grow Tesco’s e-commerce business, the retailer’s fastest growing sales channel, whilst significantly improving the customer experience and increasing profitability, contributing earlier this year to Tesco’s highest growth in seven years.
Prior to Tesco, Adrian was an entrepreneur, co-founding digital and on demand TV service Blinkbox in 2006, where he led as COO before selling to Tesco in 2011.
